AUBURN – Alley Smith will be guest speaker at the Lewiston Auburn Breakfast Rotary meeting from 7:15 to 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, at the United Methodist Church, 439 Park Ave.
Smith is the regional manager of Veterans Inc. in Maine. She is a Marine Corps and Navy Reserve veteran and served in Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan. She is the vice commander of American Legion District 3, Androscoggin County, and is the veteran engagement director of Maine Team RWB.
Her work in veterans’ advocacy is geared toward enriching the lives of Maine’s most vulnerable veterans – those who are homeless or at risk. She promotes personal responsibility, personal accountability and resilience. Smith is dedicated to ending veteran homelessness in Maine.
Reservations are not required to attend. Breakfast is $10.
