PARIS – Judith Ann Cummings, 49, of Oxford passed away Wednesday, July 12, at Market Square Health Care Center, surrounded by family and friends.
She was born in Providence, Rhode Island, Nov. 8, 1967, to Robert Caron Sr. and Joyce Caron. She graduated from Oxford Hills High School, Class of 1985.
Judy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, listening to music, and watching sports, especially the New England Patriots and the Boston Bruins, and she loved the ocean.
Judy always had a strong work ethic. After high school, she worked at Robinson Manufacturing Co. and later at area home manufacturing plants, including Keiser and KBS Building Systems. She worked seasonally at the L.L.Bean call center in Lewiston. She also worked part time housecleaning for people.
Judy was brave and fought hard to overcome her illness.
She is survived by her daughter, Shauna Cummings of Paris; a sister, Teresa Caron, of Norway; a sister-in-law, Linda Seamon of Oxford; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Robert Caron Jr.; her grandparents; and her daughter, Amanda.
Special thanks to the staff at Stephens Memorial Hospital, Market Square Health Care Center and Beacon Hospice.
