OTISFIELD — The Board of Selectmen will meet with the town forester to discuss the state of town timber lots at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Town Office.

Administrative Assistant Anne Pastore said that the three lots “haven’t been looked at in a while.”

During the board’s May 17 meeting, some selectmen suggested that town forester Bill Newcomb look at the timber market to see whether certain trees are selling well, and then look at the town lots to see if there are any trees that should be harvested.

Other items on the agenda include:

• Discussion on Gordon Chamberlain’s application for the Conservation Committee;

• Signing of Central Maine Power pole permit; and

• Discussion on new signs for the Transfer Station.
