Jeffrey Hanscom, a longtime Bridgton Hospital Guild volunteer, earned the Governor’s Award for Service and Volunteerism for 1,308 hours of service to the hospital. Hanscom volunteers at Twitchell’s Campus Café, serving hospital staff and the public. In all, Hanscom has given over 5,000 hours to the hospital. Susan Hedrich, volunteer services director for Central Maine Healthcare, presents Hanscom with a certificate of appreciation signed by Gov. Paul LePage during National Volunteer Week.
