RAYMOND — Ellen Bunnell, a longtime resident of Raymond, passed away after a short, but courageous fight with ovarian cancer on Monday, July 10.
Ellen was born in 1940 in Omaha, Neb., to parents, George and Evelyn Goodro Wolf. Ellen married her husband, Bill on June 30, 1961. They celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary this past month.
The family moved to Raymond with their four children in 1970. She worked at Sebago Moc while raising her children. Ellen enjoyed baking and cooking. She also loved feeding squirrels, birds and watching her hummingbirds.
Ellen is survived by her husband, William Sr.; her daughters, Sheryl, Laurie and Mary; and her son, William Jr.; granddaughter, Jessica Sibley and significant other, Roland Champagne; grandsons, Fredrick W. Sibley III and Robert Troiano Jr. and wife, Ashley; her three great-grandchildren, Emily and Bryce Champagne and Aubrey Troiano; also her Aunt Claire and Uncle Paul Hotovec; and three nieces in Omaha, Neb.
The family would like to especially thank Helen from Androscoggin Hospice for her tender loving care of Ellen.
