LEWISTON & AUBURN — The two City Councils will not convene this week because of the Independence Day holiday. 

Tuesday, July 4

LEWISTON & AUBURN — Lewiston/Auburn Liberty Festival. Festivities, live music and food begin at 6 p.m. in Lewiston at Veterans Memorial Park and in Auburn at Great Falls Plaza. Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. 

LEWISTON & AUBURN — Municipal offices in Lewiston and Auburn are closed. 

AUBURN — Trash and recycling collection will not be done Tuesday, July 4. Trash collection will resume July 11. Recycling collections scheduled for the first and third Tuesdays will continue July 18.

LEWISTON — Curbside trash normally collected Tuesday will be collected Wednesday. This change will remain in effect for the entire week, with Friday’s curbside trash collected Saturday, July 8.
