RUMFORD — Grant Hartley’s two-run home run in the seventh highlighted a four-run inning in Rogers Post’s 8-7 victory over River Valley on Thursday.
River Valley made a come back in the bottom of the inning, scoring three times, but left the tying and go ahead runs on second and third.
Rogers Post (1-0) scored four times in the opening inning. Tyler Blanchard led Rogers with two hits.
River Valley (0-1) had two homers in the game: Guss Brown hit a solo shot in the bottom of the third, and Dylan Desroches had a three-run shot in the next inning.
Cam Godbois had two hits including a double, and Gavin Arsenault had a double.
