President Donald Trump vowed to drain the swamp in Washington, D.C. Instead, within a span of four months, he has brought a fetid stench to the nation’s capitol. More damage has been done to the White House recently than since the War of 1812, when the British burned it.
If Watergate taught the country anything, it wasn’t a third-rate burglary that brought Nixon down, it was the cover-up.
I am hopeful that Robert Mueller won’t be impeded from conducting a thorough investigation of Trump and his minions.
Let the chips fall where they may.
