Finn Goodwin pats Colleen Basque on the back after Basque made a presentation on behalf of the Gender and Sexuality Alliance at Edward Little High School in Auburn on Monday. Goodwin, Basque, Taylor Gavett and Jenna Fowler asked Principal Scott Annear if they could make a presentation to staff on issues that the LGBT community face at the school. “Our school is doing pretty well,” Basque said about the attitude and environment that LGBT students face. “There are just a few little things that we wanted to point out,” Basque said. The alliance is comprised of 15 students, co-adviser Mary Beth Galway said.
