Sunday Services at Stoneham Church
STONEHAM — The Oxford County United Parish, made up of North Waterford and Stoneham Congregational Churches, will hold their Sunday services at 10 a.m., during the months of May and June, at the Stoneham Church on Route 5.
The Rev. Earl Rogers will be officiating, with a coffee hour to follow.
All are welcome.
Lifetree Café discusses ‘Embracing Change’
LEWISTON — Practical advice for accepting and embracing change will be explored at Lifetree Café at 6:30pm,Thursday, May 11, at 1919 Lisbon Road.
The program, titled “Embracing Change: Taking the Fear Out of What Comes Next,” examines why change is often difficult for people and features an exclusive screening of the award-winning short film, “Baits and Hooks.”
“Whether it’s major or minor, change can certainly cause anxiety,” says Lifetree representative Craig Cable. “During this program we’ll unpack why so many people feel uncomfortable with change and examine how to shift to a more positive perspective.”
Admission to the 60-minute event is free.

Faith Baptist Mother’s Day service
AUBURN — Faith Baptist Church will celebrate Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14, at 43 Washington St. South.
The Rev. Jon Case will deliver the sermon, “Mother’s Excellency.” The church choir will present, “He Took My Sins Away,” conducted by Case.
Sunday School will be held for all ages at 10 a.m., followed by the worship service at 11 a.m. The evening service will be at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited.
