STRONG — Strong Public Library will hold a used book sale on multiple days.
The first sale will be for Strong library patrons and Strong residents only. It will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 4, in the Forster Memorial Building auditorium.
The public book sale will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 5.
Books include fiction and nonfiction, young adult and children’s books, paperbacks, audiobooks and movies.

OXFORD — Grace Fellowship Church’s indoor yard sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 5 and 6, at 29 Poplar St.

AUBURN — A bake sale and rummage sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6, in the first floor community room at Barker Mill Arms, 143 Mill St.
There will be a 50/50 raffle, food baskets, and a door prize. There will also be white elephant tables. The kitchen will be open and selling an array of snacks, meals and baked goods.

AVON — A potluck lunch and live auction on Saturday, May 6, at the Avon Town House will benefit resident Marie Pillsbury.
Lunch will be at 1 p.m. with the auction to follow at 2 p.m. Tom Saviello will call.
Pillsbury had a complete knee replacement late in 2016, and was recovering nicely when she broke her other leg recently. The proceeds from this event will help her with home modifications and medical needs as she works toward recovery.

NEW SHARON — The New Sharon Community Improvement Team will hold a benefit yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at the town office.
Proceeds from the sale will be used to fund projects and events that benefit town residents, such as the CIT’s community vegetable garden and flower beds.

NORWAY — An indoor yard sale extravaganza to benefit the Skills/USA National Contestants will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at the Oxford Hills Technical School by the auto collision shop off Fair Street.

RUMFORD — Relay For Life team Honey’s Bunnies will have a yard and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at 18 Holyoke Ave.
Proceeds to benefit the River Valley Relay For Life.

WAYNE — The next First Saturday at the Williams House will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 6, at 14 Old Winthrop Road.
The community can stop in for refreshments and browse the books and boutique. This month the boutique will include porcelain dinnerware and lace curtain material while the book sale will have a selection of recently donated older books, including books by Maine authors and children’s books.
All proceeds benefit the Wayne Library Association.

RUMFORD — The Rumford Hospital Auxiliary will hold the popular InDesign Jewelry and Accessories Sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, May 8, and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, at Rumford Hospital, in Conference Room A, on the ground floor.
