Book discussion date changed
NORWAY — The Norway Memorial Library has announced a change in the Let’s Talk About It book discussion schedule.
The third book, “Between the World and Me” by Ta Nehisi Coates in the Violence and Belonging: The Fourteenth Amendment and American Literate series has been rescheduled to 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 17.
The talk had been scheduled for April 18.

West Paris Society resumes meetings
WEST PARIS — The first meeting of 2017 for the West Paris Historical Society will be on Monday, April 17, with a potluck dinner at 6 p.m. and a short meeting at 7 p.m.
The guest will be Dale Piiranien, who will talk on the early Finnish people in the area and the importance they made in the history of West Paris.

Mexico Historical Society to meet
MEXICO — The Mexico Historical Society will have its spring meeting at 5 p.m. Monday, April 17, in the Calvin Lyons Meeting Hall.
A potluck supper will be shared followed by the meeting.
Webster Cemetery Association meeting
CHESTERVILLE — The annual meeting of the Webster Cemetery Association will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, April 17, at the Chesterville Town Hall.
Garden club to meet
FARMINGTON — The Mt. Blue Area Garden Club will meet Tuesday, April 18, Trinity United Methodist Church, Farmington Falls Road.
Lori Ireland, a club member, will present “Plants are Best.” She will share personal experiences of the health benefits of eating more whole plant based foods.
All those interested in this topic are welcomed to join. A social half hour will precede the program at 6 p.m. Hostesses Marion Hutchinson, Mary Green and Amy Palmer will provide light refreshments.
The speaker will talk at 6:30 p.m.
