WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Lorrette “Loretta” Bard died Tuesday, March 28, at Savannah Cove of West Palm Beach, Fla. She passed away peacefully with her husband of 67 years, Gilbert, and her son, Troy, by her side.
Lorrette was born in 1930. After raising her children, she was certified as a nurse’s aide and enjoyed helping others. Lorrette enjoyed making people laugh. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother. She loved the outdoors and passed along an appreciation of nature to her family. She also had an incredible green thumb and God’s plants flourished with her touch. Lorrette enjoyed arts and crafts and creating things with her hands.
She is survived by her husband, Gilbert; four sons, Bruce, Brian, Troy and Eric; her daughters-in-law, Randi, Nancy, Lisa and Darlene; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her sisters, Cecile, Anita and Jean; and brother, John.
She was predeceased by her sister, Julie; and brothers, Ludger, Gilbert, Romeo and Gerard.
