FRYEBURG — Fryeburg Academy inducted 36 new members to the B.W. Tinker Chapter of the National Honor Society on March 14.
The B.W. Tinker Chapter works diligently to bring the accomplishments of outstanding students to the attention of parents, teachers, peers and the community. The chapter, along with the more than 15,000 chapters in schools across the nation, strive to give practical meaning to the society’s standards of scholarship, leadership, service and character selection. Students are inducted for excelling in all these areas.
The 2017 inductees to the B.W. Tinker Chapter of the National Honor Society are:
• Seniors: Gillian Brosnan, Hsin Yu Chien, YiFu Qiu, Bridget Tweedie and Chaofan Ye.
• Juniors: Colleen Bullard, Caleb Eklund, Junting Liu, Ciara Neidlinger, Kaeli Twigg-Smith, Yu Chieh Huang, Gayun Koo, Valeria Mendoza, Addison Schwarz, Abigail Burnell and Katherine Carpenter.
• Sophomores: Caroline Condon, Nicole DePaolo, Jessica Frum, Junjie Gao, Gunnar Gurnis, Casey Kneissler, Kristina LeBlanc, River Lusky, Zoe Maguire, McKenna McGrath, Mae Milo, Brevin Mutrie, Samuel Paulding, Grace Quinn, Erin Richardson, Lauren Schasel, Adeline Stone, Gracie Vaughan and Yizhou Wang.
Thirty-six students at Fryeburg Academy were inducted into the B.W. Tinker Chapter of the National Honor Society on March 14. They were selected on the basis of scholarship, leadership, service and character.
