WOODSTOCK — Registration is open for Becoming an Outdoors Woman Spring Mini Workshop on May 21 at the University of Maine 4-H Camp and Learning Center in Bryant Pond village.
Topics include bass fishing, canoeing, trapping, riflery, primitive skills, fly-casting, archery and beekeeping.
The cost is $85 and includes instruction, equipment and lunch.
The program offers women ages 18 and older hands-on opportunities to learn more about hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation in a safe and comfortable environment. The program is sponsored by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
