After a weeklong celebration of Franco-American heritage, the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College in Lewiston hosted an afternoon tea with artist Mercedes Gastonguay, followed by a French sing-along with Les Troubadours. Between the events, Roland Lajoie talked about the 30 years he worked at the Bates Mill, which is depicted in Gastonguay’s artwork.
