FARMINGTON — The state has dismissed a sexual abuse case against a Jay man because of insufficient evidence, according to a court document.
Jay police arrested Terry L. Greenleaf, 51, on Jan. 4, 2016, on a felony charge of unlawful sexual contact after conducting an investigation. He was indicted on the charge in October.
Greenleaf previously denied the charge.
His attorney, Adam Sherman, tried to get the case dismissed last year but a state prosecutor objected.
Assistant District Attorney Joshua Robbins dismissed the indictment against Greenleaf on Feb. 10, according to a court document.
