WATERFORD — Waterford Library has announced upcoming events.
St. Patrick’s Day Movie: 7 p.m. Friday, March 17. The library will show “The Quiet Man” with John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara, which came out in 1952. The movie is not rated. Those attending should bring a dish to share.
Meet the Author — Bruce Robert Coffin: 2 p.m. Saturday, March 11. The library will host Bruce Robert Coffin, former Portland detective sergeant and author of “Among the Shadows, A Detective Byron Mystery.” The author will do a reading from his book and will have books available for purchase and signing.
Meet the Author — Walt Bannon: 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8. The library will host Walt Bannon, author of “The White Pocketbook.”
Knitting: 2 p.m. Mondays.
Kid’s Gaming: 6 p.m. Wednesdays.
Coffee Cafe: 9 a.m. Fridays.
Mystery Book Club: 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 8. The club meets on the second Wednesday of the month.
Documentary and Discussion: 6 p.m. Friday, March 17. Discussions are on the third Friday of the month.
Book Discussion: 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 22. Discussions are on the fourth Wednesday of the month.
