BETHEL — Octavia M. Morin of Bethel, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, Feb. 28.
She was born in Norway, the daughter of Anthony and Tracy (Ross) Morin, on March 12, 1998. Octavia attended Crescent Park Elementary School and Telstar Regional High School, where she recently graduated in the spring of 2016. She earned a year of college credit from Central Maine Community College during her senior year.
Octavia was an extremely loving and caring person. Field hockey and basketball were sports she not only enjoyed, but played with dedication and passion. She enjoyed many hobbies and pastimes with great aspirations to travel and see the world. Going to concerts was one of her favorites. She danced with such fluidity and calmness. Her nephew was one of her favorite audiences to perform for. Among many things, hunting and fishing with her father, trips to the ocean, playing card and board games, her family pets and animals, and of course spending time with friends and family were moments held close to her heart. She had an amazing creative influence that was portrayed in her daily life. Whether it was painting, taking pictures or crafting, she loved spending her time making special creations she could pass along to friends and family just to make their day.
She is survived by her parents, Anthony and Tracy Morin, of Bethel; maternal grandmother, Joy Hart, and her husband, Ozzie, of Bethel; paternal grandmother, Darlene Levesque, and her husband, Bob, of Albany; maternal great-grandfather, Clifton Littlehale, and his wife, Diane, of Magalloway; paternal great-grandparents, Yvonne and Maxine Corriveau, of Gilead; four sisters, Sasha Morin, of Portland, Amber Morin and her partner, Becky Lutz, of Glenburn, Christina Hall and her husband, Louis, of Rumford, and Mariha Morin, of Bethel; and her son, Aiden; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Adrian Morin; maternal great-grandmother, Elise Littlehale; maternal great-great-grandmother, Beatrice Burris and her husband, Ralph; and maternal great-uncle, Francis Demayo.
We will always carry you in our hearts, baby angel Tavi. Love, Mom, Dad, your sisters and Aiden.
