Greensboro, N.C. — On Wednesday, Feb. 15, Harold Dumond passed away in Greensboro, N.C., following a short illness.
Born on Jan. 15, 1938, in Wallagrass, Harold was the 14th child of 16 children born to Albert Dumond and Isabelle (Labbe) Dumond.
Harold grew up in Lewiston and was a hardworking man and a good provider.
He was a tree surgeon and power line foreman for many years and was the owner of Harold’s Tavern on Birch Street. He later worked for the Androscoggin County school system before retiring.
He leaves behind a son, Darold Dumond and two stepdaughters, Debra LeTourneau and Pam Grenier. He also leaves behind two stepsons, Jerry McClintock and Jeff McClintock and numerous grandchildren and in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Ware Dumond; and his parents and 14 siblings.
