AUBURN — The Auburn Democratic City Committee will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Auburn Hall.
Adam Lee, attorney with the firm Trafton, Matzen, Belleau & Frenette, will discuss his candidacy for the vacant Ward 4 City Council seat.
Ted Small, attorney with the firm Skelton, Taintor & Abbott, and a graduate of the University of Florida Political Campaigning Program, will speak on messaging by elected officials and candidates. Small trained with one of the pioneers of Democratic polling and consulting, whose clients included Ed Muskie, Tip O’Neill, Jimmy Carter, Lloyd Bentsen and John Glenn.
Those attending should bring a nonperishable food item for the pantry at the Trinity Jubilee Center. Parking is available in the garage, and attendees should enter through the courtyard entrance and take the elevator to the second floor.
All Auburn Democrats are urged to attend the city committee meetings, which take place on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Refreshments are served and visitors are welcome.
