LEWISTON — Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice President and CEO Kenneth Albert will address the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club on Thursday, March 2.
The talk is from noon to 1 p.m. at the Ramada Inn Conference Center, 490 Pleasant St.
Prior to his appointment to AHCH in June 2016, Albert was the director and chief operating officer of the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and the director of the Division of Licensing and Regulatory Services within the Maine Department of Health and Human Services.
Prior to his work at DHHS, he practiced law for several years in Lewiston, specializing in health law, professional licensing and regulatory and compliance law.
Albert has 17 years of clinical practice in emergency and intensive-care settings.
He served as director of Emergency Services at Central Maine Medical Center, as the administrator of the Occupational Health Center affiliated with CMMC, and as the Lewiston site manager for LifeFlight of Maine.
He also spent five years as a traveling critical care nurse.
A graduate of the CMMC School of Nursing, Albert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at the University of Southern Maine magna cum laude, and a law degree from the University of Maine School of Law with honors in health law.
