BRUNSWICK — A pedestrian who was struck by an SUV while crossing the street in Brunswick has died.

Brunswick police told the Portland Press Herald that 20-year-old Caleb Maxham died Monday morning at Maine Medical Center.

Maxham was struck just after 8 p.m. Sunday in a dimly lit area. Police say he was wearing dark clothing and tried to cross a section of the street where there is no crosswalk.
