Proceeds will benefit the medical costs for Ken Edwards, who is in need of a kidney transplant.

LEWISTON — Hoping to do something to promote a kinder, more respectful tone in social media and the Lewiston-Auburn community, Heidi Sawyer is organizing a community potluck supper.

It’s for Lewiston-Auburn residents “and anyone who loves our community,” she said.

The Breaking Bread, Breaking Barriers, a community potluck supper, will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Lewiston Middle School.

PARIS — Friends and staff of the Paris Public Library will serve the second annual Pasta Dinner Fundraiser for the library Saturday, Feb. 25, at the First Congregational Church of South Paris.

There will be two seatings, the first at 5 p.m. and the second at 6 p.m.

Vegan and gluten-free options will be available.
