BETHEL — Community Concepts Finance Corp., the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce and the Oxford Hills Chapter of SCORE are sponsoring two social media workshops. Both workshops will be held Wednesday, Feb. 8, at the GEM Theater in Bethel.

The first workshop, “Instagram: Going Deeper,” will be held from 9-11:30 a.m. This workshop will help attendees build networks, showcase images and content, build visibility using hashtags, identify influencers and find target audiences, discover trending topics and high-frequency hashtags to help boost the visibility of posts, consider switching to an Instagram for Business account, and understand Instagram for Business Insights (analytics).

From 12:30-3 p.m., the workshop focus will shift to Facebook marketing, creating and sharing valuable, brand-specific content that tells a story to target audiences. In the workshop “Facebook: Intermediate Topics for Business,” those attending will learn how to improve a Facebook for Business page and how to create and target ads for the lowest budget and the most impact.

The instructor for both workshops is Abbie McGilvery with From the Nest.

The cost to attend both workshops for chamber members is $45; $55 for nonmembers. Chamber members can attend one workshop for $25; $30 for nonmembers. Go to www.wmedc.org and click on “Events” to register online for either or both workshops.
