History Barn open house
NEW GLOUCESTER —The next monthly New Gloucester History Barn open house will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 4, at 383 Intervale Road/Route 231 behind the town hall.
The event is sponsored by the New Gloucester Historical Society. It will feature items recently acquired for the Society’s collection.
It’s free and open to the public.
Lisbon Area Widows Fellowship
LISBON FALLS — The Lisbon Area Widows Fellowship will meet Monday, Feb. 6, at the Lisbon United Methodist Church on School Street. The gathering will begin with a fellowship at 11:30 a.m. followed by a potluck lunch.
All widows in the area may attend. The group meets the first Monday of each month unless there is a holiday, and then the gatherings will be the second Monday.
Cribbage league lists winners
LEWISTON — Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners on Jan. 26 were, first, Ike LeCompte and Bob Masse; second, Don Haley and Dwight Webb; third, Bert Cloutier and Dick Saucier; fourth, Betty Ames and Richard Cloutier; and fifth, Dennis Gosselin and Terry Lefebvre.
The Seniors play on Thursdays at the Lewiston Memorial Armory.
