CARRABASSETT VALLEY — Four people were injured Saturday when a vehicle they were riding in hit ice on the S-curves on Route 27, rolled over and landed on a snowbank, according to police.

Rolando Cedeno, 39, of Yonkers, New York told police he hit ice and lost control, according to police officer Rick Billian’s email to supervisors.

Passengers Roselisa Cuellodeabrea 28, and Monseratte Cotto, 51, both of New York, had to be extricated from the 2015 Toyota Sienna, Billian wrote. The third third passenger was Jonathan Mota, 34, of Alexandria, Virginia.

All four were taken by a NorthStar EMS ambulance to Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington for minor injuries.

Carrabassett Valley Fire Department assisted at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing and there are no charges at this time, Billian wrote.

The vehicle was demolished, Police Chief Mark Lopez said.
