DIXFIELD — Luke Lueders led a trio of players in double figures as Dirigo hustled to a 56-47 mid-season win over Oak Hill in a boys’ basketball tilt Tuesday evening.

Lueders paced the Cougars (3-9) with 15 points, seven assists and three steals. Cooper Chiasson chipped in with 14 points, while Jeremy St. Germain added 12.

The Raiders (6-5) were paced by Austin Noble and Marcus Bailey with solid 13-point efforts, while Darryn Bailey added eight points.

Hall-Dale 58, Mt. Abram 31

SALEM —Hall-Dale got balanced scoring in a 58-31 victory over Mt. Abram in an MVC contest.

Alec Byron led the way with 11 points while Tyler Nadeau, Jett Boyer and Alec Roberts-Poulin each had eight points.

The Bulldogs (9-3) broke the game open in the second quarte, outscoring the Roadrunners 24-6.

Casey Holt led Mt. Abram (0-10) with 16 points.

Telstar 71, Carrabec 44

BETHEL — After jumping out to a 10-point advantage in the first frame, Telstar kept its foot on the gas and raced away to a convincing 71-44 victory over Carrabec on Tuesday.

Tanner Wheeler led the Rebels (4-8) with 19 points, while Jarrett Bean tallied 16 and pulled down 12 rebounds. Zack Stone also contributed with 14 points, while Avry Griffin added eight points and held Carrabec’s Dustin Crawford to just eight points.

Evan Holzworth led the Cobras (2-9) with 11 points, while Dylan Willett chipped in with nine.

Madison 66, Monmouth 51

MONMOUTH — Madison built a big lead in the first half and survived a late rally by Monmouth to secure a 66-51 mid-season victory on Tuesday evening.

Mitch Jarvais led the powerhouse Bulldogs (11-1) with a game-high 22 points, while Sean Whalen chipped in with 12.

The Mustangs (3-9) were paced by Devin Poisson with 14 points, while Avery Amero tallied 11 and Mat Foulke added 10.

Seacoast Christian 55, Rangeley 34

AUBURN — Rangeley’s offense fell a bit flat in the second quarter Tuesday evening, as Seacoast Christian went on a 19-5 tear and pulled away to record a 55-34 victory in more boys’ basketball action.

Caleb LaCroix led Seacoast (7-5) with 19 points, while Skyler Archer chipped in with 12.

The Lakers (3-8) were paced by Kyle Larochelle with a game-high 20 points, the only player to reach double figures.

Girls’ basketball

Rangeley 51, Seacoast 20

AUBURN — Natasha Haley had a big game, draining 21 points to lead Rangeley to a 51-20 victory over Seacoast Christian at Central Maine Community College on Tuesday.

She also had 10 rebounds and eight steals.

Sidney Royce chipped in with 15 points for the Lakers (9-2).

Courtney Williams had 17 points for Seacoast Christian (2-10),while Cadence Robbins added three points.

Hebron 58, Buckfield 34

BUCKFIELD — Hebron used a 17-7 run in the third quarter to take command before pulling away to secure a 58-34 victory over Buckfield in girls’ basketball action Tuesday.

Franceska Halloran led Hebron (5-4) with 21 points, eight steals and four assists. Maddie New also lit the boards with 21 points and hauled down 10 rebounds.

Katy Henderson led the Bucks (2-9) with a solid 14-point effort, while Hannah Shields chipped in with 12 points.

Boothbay 58, Winthrop 35

WINTHROP — Boothbay built an insurmountable 18-point lead in the first half and raced away to a 58-35 win over Winthrop in more mid-season girls’ hoops action Tuesday evening.

Page Brown led the undefeated Seahawks (12-0) with 37 points, while Kate Friant chipped in with 10.

The Ramblers (6-5) were paced by Kena Souza with a fine 17-point performance, while Layne Audet added seven.

Oak Hill 38, Dirigo 29

WALES — Brianna Mulherin poured in a game-high 14 points to help lift host Oak Hill to a 38-29 victory over Dirigo in an MVC girls’ basketball contest Tuesday night.

Desiree Dumais made the only 3-pointer of the game and finished with eight points for the Raiders (5-7).

Alexa Varnum led the Cougars (4-8) with 11 points.
