Matthew McDonnell, a deputy with the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office, wrote in a criminal investigation report that around 8:31 p.m. Friday, he received a report that Landry was threatening people with a knife at 392 Merrill Hill Road.
McDonnell wrote that he, Cpl. Andrew Whitney, Paris officer Gino Valeriani and Maine State Trooper Ricci Cote responded to the address and found Landry walking outside without any weapons.
He wrote in the report that he could smell a strong odor of intoxicants coming from her, and that she had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes.
While Landry denied threatening anybody with a knife, McDonnell wrote that he entered the residence and observed a “male with a bloody nose, holding his ribs and slumped over.”
McDonnell wrote that the male said Landry had struck him with a two-by-four piece of wood multiple times and threatened him and others inside the residence with a knife.
“(He) stated that while (she) was threatening everyone with the knife, she was damaging the drywall by stabbing the knife into the wall,” McDonnell wrote.
McDonnell wrote that others in the house gave statements that substantiated the victim’s statement.
“I attempted to speak with Sandra again regarding this incident . . . and she denied any involvement and stated that she never had a knife,” McDonnell wrote.
He arrested her and took her to the Oxford County Jail.
