RUMFORD — Among the calls answered by the Police Department recently were:

• Jan. 2, 7:06 p.m.: Adam Lee Downs, 35, Rumford, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault on Kennebec Street and transported to Oxford County Jail. He is due in court Jan. 9.

• Dec. 26, 10:26 a.m.: Jessica West, 19, Rumford, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault on Pine Street and was transported to the Oxford County Jail. She is due in court Feb. 13.

• Dec. 23, 1:05 p.m.: Jason Buotte 34, Dixfield, was arrested at the Rumford Police Department on a warrant for failure to appear and on a charge of operating without a license. He was released on $250 cash bail.

• Dec. 23: Thomas Hinkley, 61, Rumford, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence terrorizing on Route 2 in Rumford Center. He was transported to Oxford County Jail. He is due in court Jan. 9.

• Dec. 22, 6:52 p.m.: Guner Vicelich, 28, Rumford, was arrested on Canal Street on a charge of refusal to submit to arrest or detention. He posted $200 cash bail. He is due in court Feb. 13.
