Ocean effect snow showers and areas of freezing drizzle are possible Tuesday morning and afternoon thanks to an onshore wind.

However, precipitation during that time frame should be light, but it may create some tricky travel conditions in some areas.

The steadiest and heaviest of the precipitation arrives Tuesday evening and moves out around 7 a.m. Wednesday.

The coastal plain will get 0.75 inch to 1 inche of rain. Some select spots in the western mountains should get over a half foot of snow.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory, Winter Storm Watch, and Winter Storm Warning for the White Mountains in New Hampshire and the western Maine mountains.
