BRUNSWICK — All Saints Parish will host a special Christmas carol sing-along at 7:30 p.m. Christmas Eve, Saturday, Dec. 24, in front of the town gazebo in the park between Maine Street and Park Row. All are encouraged to attend.

The parish with donate one dollar to the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program for each person who comes to sing.

“We sing just 15 minutes of unaccompanied, traditional Christmas carols,” said Sheila Murphy, the parish’s youth ministry coordinator. “Usually, we have around 100 people.”

This is the 15th year that the parish has organized the gathering. Many people come year after year.

“I love this event,” said Murphy. “I really love being able to sing about my faith in a public place. It’s a simple way of ringing in the holy night.”

The lyrics for the carols will be provided to those who attend.
