CASCO — Police arrested Jeffrey Eugene Smith of Sebago on Monday in connection with the hit-and-run death of a Casco woman.

Lorna Nugent, 56,  was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday night on Route 302.

Nugent was a Casco resident was killed about 6:19 p.m. near the Naples town line, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
