1922 – 2016
BRIGHTON, Mass. — Lucille L. Crowley, 94, a former Lewiston resident, passed away peacefully at a Brighton, Mass., nursing home on Tuesday, Dec. 13, following a long illness.
She was born in Lewiston, Oct. 29, 1922, the daughter of Ralph A. and Sadie C. (Drouin) Levesque. Lucille was a 1941 graduate of Lewiston High School, and was employed a short time in the Bates Mill office in Lewiston, where she met her future husband, Stephen H. Crowley Jr., who predeceased her on Dec. 12, 2006.
In 1978, both she and her husband moved to the Waterville-Oakland area where Lucille was a resident for 30 years. Lucille later lived at Schooner Estates in Auburn, and since 2012 at Providence House ALF in Brighton, Mass.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan of Brighton, Mass.;, two sisters, Denise Sprinkle and Monique Levesque, both of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and multiple nieces and nephews.
