DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Woman’s Literary Union would like to thank students from the Hebron Academy soccer team for raking and yard clean up at the Foss Mansion. We also thank the Auburn Public Services for taking away the many bags of yard waste after the boys finished. The Foss Mansion at 19 Elm Street in Auburn is now ready for the Holiday Open House with every room decorated in holiday splendor. The public is invited to tour this historic home at $5 for adults and free admission for children. The Holiday Open House is from 3 to 7 p.m. on the weekends of Dec. 10-11 and 17-18. ANSWER: Keith Carson returned to WCSH 6 this year after 3 years at the Weather Channel. He reports the weather at noon and 5 p.m. weekdays and also writes for the channel’s weather blog. He is regularly reporting the weather but may have been out due to illness or a vacation.
