FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help identify a suspect in a theft at the Chesterville Corner Store.
The theft occurred at 5:45 p.m. Saturday, according to a release from Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr.
The suspect is described as a man in his late 40s or early 50s. He was wearing a red and green ball cap, leather jacket, blue jeans and white shoes.
Police said the man stole several items, including a flashlight, cans of tuna, a toothbrush, bottles of water, soap and coffee.
The suspect’s vehicle appeared to be a gold Chrysler with Florida tags. He said he was staying in the Eustis area.
