Some good news came out of the Gamache Boxing Club in Lewiston this weekend.

Dima Tripp won by unanimous decision in his Silver Gloves regional tournament match against Xavier Gayco from Attleboro, Massachusetts. The 15-year-old Tripp was fighting at 106 pounds. Tripp now advances to the finals of the tournament next week in Rhode Island.

A pair of 15-year-old girls from the club will also be moving on. Breanna Ingalls and Jordan Jones, both of Lewiston, won by walkover and will fight again in January in New York. Ingalls fights at 150 pounds, while Jones fights at 119 pounds.
