Clean Election candidate? Yes
Committee assignments wanted:
Wherever I am needed most.
What is the most pressing problem in your district and what do you plan to do about it?
Lack of good jobs. Help to deregulate crippling regulations on small business. Get rid of state mandates.
Gov. Paul LePage wants to eliminate the state income tax. Do you support that? If not, why not?
Yes
Are you willing to support raising the fuel tax to fix Maine roads? If not, why not?
No, not the way things stand presently. More then 70 percent of the money for roads and bridges go to administration. This is upside down and should be the other way around. Spend the money we have more wisely and then see if anymore is needed.
The relationship between the governor and the Legislature has deteriorated over the past six years. What can the Legislature do to improve that relationship?
Support the governor. Try to get the GOP to stick together like the Democrats do when waters are rough.
What methods do you support to reduce opiate addiction in Maine?
The federal government should be spraying defoliant on all poppy fields in Afghanistan where 95 percent of the world’s supply comes from. Here in Maine, I support the governor’s efforts. Another idea? Outsource incarceration of drug dealers caught in Maine to Indonesia. That would be a permanent solution.
