AUGUSTA — Police say an unidentified man brought a missing 3-year-old Augusta girl to the police station safe and apparently uninjured.

Police were looking for Lenore  “Lenny” Wilson since Tuesday morning. Augusta police responded to the family home Tuesday morning for a “drug-related emergency” involving Lenore’s mother.

Lenore Wilson was last seen with Fatima “China” Gissentaner. The two were last seen at an apartment house Monday night at 26 Sewall St. in Augusta.

Lenore’s mother was released from the hospital and was at the police station when her daughter was brought there. Police did not identify the man or other people who were with Lenore but said they were questioning them.

Lenore told her family she went on a “long ride” Tuesday.

Police say Gissentaner was not one of them and they are looking for her still. She is a 26-year-old tall, slender, black woman, who occasionally cares for the child.

Gissentaner may also be with her boyfriend, who goes by the street name “Dollar.” Both are from New York.
