BATH —

Police say they were called to investigate a child custody complaint on Bumpy Hill Road around 3 p.m.

While there, police say they could smell an overwhelming odor of marijuana.

The residents, Joseph Plummer and Alison Hartill, eventually showed police the marijuana.

Police say there was 17.5 lbs. of processed marijuana; some of it was packaged and some was in totes.

Plummer and Hartill were issued summonses. They were charged with unlawful possession of schedule Z drugs (marijuana).

The estimated street value of the marijuana is $70,000.
