LEWISTON — Traffic on Sabattus Street was shut down Wednesday morning for a gas leak near the intersection with Pond Road.

A construction crew reportedly struck a gas line at approximately 8:30 a.m. during the morning commute.

Drivers are urged to find an alternate route.
