DIXFIELD — A graveside service for Leland Merchant was held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, at Greenwood Cemetery in Dixfield. The Rev. John Gensel officiated. Military honors were rendered by the Navy Honor Guard from Bangor. A reception followed at the American Legion in Dixfield. Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home, Cremation & Monument Services, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
