I always appreciate representatives who care enough about their constituents to come knock on their doors and listen to them.

Two years ago, when Eric Brakey first ran for state senate, I got that knock on my door. I appreciated him taking the time to hear my concerns about the high taxes and welfare abuse experienced here in Maine.

Since he was elected, I know that he heard me because he has been working tirelessly to lower taxes and fix Maine’s broken welfare system. As a state Senator, he helped pass real welfare reform and one of the largest tax cuts in Maine history.

Just recently, he knocked on my door again to listen to my thoughts. I told him to keep up the good work.

This November, I am voting to re-elect Sen., Eric Brakey, for Poland, Minot, Mechanic Falls, New Gloucester and Auburn.

Marilyn Flynn, Poland
