BUCKFIELD — Jake Kraske netted a pair of goals Friday to lead Buckfield to a 5-0 win over Valley in a boys’ soccer tilt.
Matt Beaucage, Ethan Jackson and Simon Burch also tallied for the Bucks (1-0-1) to complete the scoring. Tobias Worthley also contributed with an assist.
Kraske (6) and Dylan Harvey (1) combined to record seven saves for Buckfield, while Dillon Beane (16) and Brandon Thomas (4) turned aside 20 shots for Valley (0-1-1).
Leavitt 2, Lincoln 2 (2OT)
LINCOLN — Noah Lind and Seth Ramser each netted a goal for Leavitt on Friday against Lincoln Academy as the teams settled for a 2-2 boys’ soccer deadlock.
Lind and Connor Cyr recorded assists for the Hornets (1-1-1), while Lucas Perry made 11 saves.
John Henry and Aaron Gonzalez tallied for Lincoln (1-1-1), with a goal in each half. Sam Laemmle deflected 15 shots between the posts in a solid performance.
Rangeley 4, Pine Tree Academy 1
FREEPORT — Senior midfielder Richard Thompson netted a pair of goals as Rangeley sailed to a 4-1 victory over Pine Tree Academy in boys’ soccer action Friday afternoon.
The Lakers (1-1-1) scored two goals in each half.
Jayy Jean-Louis scored the lone Pine Tree Academy (1-2) goal in the first half.
Goalie Liam Knowles made 13 saves for Pine Tree, while Hunter Lowell and Zac Trafton shared keeper duties and combined for 15 saves for Rangeley.

Lisbon 10, Telstar 0
LISBON — Senior forward Kate Philbrick and junior forward Savannah Czechalski collected three goals and two assists apiece as Lisbon dashed to a 10-0 shutout victory over Telstar in MVC field hockey action Friday afternoon.
The Greyhounds (2-1) got off to a slow start with the Rebels (0-3) defending strong over the first 15 minutes. Philbrick posted the first goal on a breakaway.
Goalie Perry Morton was busy in goal with 15 saves for Telstar, while Lisbon goalies Mikaylia Harnden and Rebecca Budesheim combined in net with no saves in the winnnig effort.
Dirigo 3, Hall-Dale 0
DIXFIELD — Ashley Perreault led a trio of players to record goals for Dirigo as the Cougars rolled to a 3-0 win over Hall-Dale in early-season field hockey action Friday.
Grace Timberlake and Sophia Jacques also tallied for the Cougars to complete the scoring.
Morgan Morrow needed only four saves to notch the shutout, while Kaylee Magee turned aside 13 shots for the Bulldogs.
Winthrop 2, Mountain Valley 0
WINTHROP — Winthrop put a goal on the board in each half Friday, enough to seal a 2-0 victory over Mountain Valley in MVC field hockey action.
Katriona Hajduk and Sarah Spahr each tallied for the Ramblers (3-0), with Hajduk’s goal coming on a penalty stroke.
Corinna Coulton made four saves to preserve the shutout, while Audra Bean deflected 16 shots for the Falcons (1-2).
Oak Hill 5, Boothbay 1
WALES — Kiera Young netted a pair of goals to propel Oak Hill to a crisp 5-1 victory over Boothbay in more local field hockey competition.
Hayden Spencer, Meagan Sheehy and Abby Asselin also tallied for the Raiders (3-0) to complete the scoring. Sydney Meader scored the Seahawks’ (2-1) lone goal.
Mckenzie Thibeault (2) and Hayley Salger (2) combined to record four saves for Oak Hill, while Erica Eames turned aside an impressive 23 shots for Boothbay.

Lincoln 3, Leavitt 3 (2OT)
TURNER — After trailing by a goal at the half, Leavitt rallied back to pull out a 3-3 tie against Lincoln in local girls’ soccer action Friday.
Shannon O’Malley led the Hornets (1-1-1) with two goals, while McKenna Redstone also tallied. Dorothy Hodous, Emily Harris and Tatum Hancock all scored for Lincoln in a well-balanced effort.
Christine Hilton made six saves for Lincoln, while Shelby Varney turned aside eight shots for Leavitt.
Buckfield 3, Valley 0
BUCKFIELD — Kali Litchfield led a trio of players to register goals Friday as Buckfield hustled to a 3-0 victory over Valley in a girls’ soccer matchup.
Julia Dow and Deja Bennett also tallied for the Bucks to complete the scoring.
Rachel Warren needed only four saves to notch the shutout, while Samantha West deflected an impressive 35 shots between the posts for Valley.
Lewiston 1, Lawrence 1 (2OT)
FAIRFIELD — Taylor Chamberlain scored at the 38:47 mark of the first half to allow Lewiston to salvage a 1-1 tie against Lawrence in more local girls’ soccer action Friday.
Kiana Letourneau gave the Bulldogs (1-1-1) a 1-0 advantage on a penalty kick just one minute before Chamberlain created the deadlock.
Kallie May made four saves for Lewiston, while Hayley Reynolds turned aside 11 shots for Lawrence.

AUBURN — Mohamed Jibril booted the game-winning goal as the Central Maine Communicty College notched its’ first win of the season with a 2-1 triumph over Unity College in men’s soccer action Friday afternoon.
Forward Ricaija Simmons posted the first goal of the game for the Mustangs (1-1). Forward Collin Nafziger evened up the score four minutes later for the Rams (1-3).
The Mustangs took a quick one-goal advantage in the second half and defended tough over the last 30 minutes of the game.
Goalie Derrick Bates made five saves for Unity, while goalie Austin Wing also prevented five to earn the win in net for CMCC.

Cape Elizabeth 42, Poland 0
POLAND — Peyton Weatherbie and Ben Ekedahl each scored a pair of touchdowns in the first half and visiting Cape Elizabeth rolled past Poland 42-0 in Class C South football action on Friday night.
The senior pair each scored on the Capers’ (2-0) first two drives after sucessful onside kicks.
Brett McAlister added a short touchdown run and Weatherbie scored his second touchdown before the end of the first quarter to make it 28-0.
Ekedahl intercepted a Knights (0-2) pass and returned it for a touchdown early in the second quarter.
Alex Depke scored late in the fourth quarter to complete the scoring.
