Season outlook: This season, the Hornets are replacing a ton of top-level talent at many key positions, one of the bigger turnovers in recent years. The back end will be the most important, with most of DeMascio’s defense gone in front of the cage. She will need to stand tall between the pipes while the younger defenders develop. Overall as a team Leavitt is younger, but the girls are excited about this season and look forward to making improvements over the course of the season.
