BUCKFIELD — Oxford County dispatchers confirmed to WGME that a toddler was being treated for injuries after a dog attack on Saturday night.

Dispatchers said it happened at a home on Paris Hill Road around 6:40 p.m. They said the 1-year-old boy is being treated at a local hospital, but details on the child’s condition were unknown.

The animal control officer has been notified and a deputy was meeting the family at the hospital to speak with them about the incident, according to dispatchers.
