At Fred’s request, an informal celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24 at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy, Mechanicsville, Va. Friends with classic and antique cars are encouraged to gather at Monaghan’s at 10:30 a.m. to join in a short cruise led by Fred’s beautiful 1955 Plymouth. Lunch will be provided following the gathering. In lieu of flowers, Fred requested that anyone interested make a donation in his memory to Sheltering Arms Hospital, Virginia Cancer Institute or At Home Care Hospice.
