FARMINGTON — A celebration of live service for Kelly Jo (Young) Sargent of Mirror Lake, N.H., formerly of Wilton, was held Saturday, July 30, at 11 a.m., from the Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington, with Rhonda Wiles-Rosell as celebrant.

Special opening music included “The Italian Restaurant” by Billy Joel, a favorite of Kelly Jo’s. Written remembrances by longtime friend, Kelly Hogan, opened the eulogy portion of the services, followed by Debbie (Yeaton) Knapp, high school friend; Helen Moody, friend; Susan Winters, coworker; Craig Sargent, brother-in-law, who recited a poem written by best friend, Lesley Preysz; Debbie Simone, friend and coworker and the Young family (Uncle Frank and Cousin Jan). Special music, “Shower the People” by James Taylor followed.

After the closing prayer, the Louis Armstrong version of “It’s A Wonderful World” was shared prior to the immediate family’s release to travel in cortege to Lakeview Cemetery for a private family committal service.

A comfort reception was held at the family cottage on the Camp Road, Wilson Lake for all in attendance.
