Skunks are curious creatures. We smell them more often than we see them, and when we DO spot one waddling around in the yard, we tend to run away.

Are skunks really so fearsome? Are they just itching to spray the first human they see, or is that merely a scare tactic parents use to keep their kids away from strange animals?
