PARIS — Gov. Paul LePage will host his next town hall forum at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in Paris from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 27.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The event is open to the public.

LePage will discuss a range of reforms, including reducing income taxes, cutting energy costs, reducing student debt and “strengthening the state’s safety net for the most vulnerable,” according to a news release. 

LePage also will address the referendum questions on the November ballot. These include: legalizing marijuana, which LePage previously said he opposes; increasing the income tax on the highest earners; requiring background checks for private sales of firearms; increasing the minimum wage to $12 an hour; implementing ranked-choice voting; and authorizing a $100 million bond package for transportation.
